Many The Miles - the movie!!

OMG, writing a screenplay is COMPLICATED. There's just so much more to think about than when you simply sit down and write a book. You have to really articulate the images in your head. It's so much more MECHANICAL than the act of normal fiction composition. Already having the story in front of me, I mistakenly assumed adaptation would be a doddle. Right now, I'm feeling as if my head might explode! What angle am I viewing the action from? What can I see - 'cos I can't see everything, right? Am I intercutting between locations? Is it day or night; inside or outside? Are my characters speaking, doing voice over, on screen, off screen...?? I think I might need a lie down...🥴 Cut! 🎬 Fade Out. 🎞️
